Our Client based in the City of London are a large national chartered accountancy firm who exclusively with entrepreneurial individuals and their businesses around the country.

Location: London

Salary: £35,000 - 40,000

Job Purpose

To manage a mix of complex audit assignments and specialist projects and complete for concurring review in line with scope and budget.

Job Description

Key Relationships:  Clients, Audit Manager, Account managers, BAA & Tax teams, TFM, Operational support

Decision Making:
Review audit scope and budget and make recommendations
Decide the order of testing taking into account information provided

Problem Solving:
Takes action to ensure field work is completed on time and to standards
Identifies and documents ways to improve audits in future years.
Addresses team under performance through coaching and guidance

Skills, Knowledge and Competencies:
Interpersonal, Client Focus , Initiative, Teamwork , Self development , Managing self ,

Commercial awareness, People development , Risk awareness 

Technical
Audit & accounting systems, Company Act requirements, Corporation tax, Consolidations/Group cash flows

Achievement of budgets on allocated assignments, Minimal review points, Assignment reports by Audit Manager, Client feedback, Identified improvements to audits / Referrals

Person Specification Requirements

Essential

ACA qualified or equivalent

At least three years experience within a training contract in an audit environment exposed to a range of client and competency. assignments or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, experience
